Yes, I have been in Cracow Print Triennial with professors and students from Vilnius Art Academy. The exhibition is not good, and exposition how prints are collected and hanged – terrible. No possible to find the entrance to this "gallery". The "gallery" is dark and very small, and looks like we returned back 50 years to the Soviet times. Only very small poster shows that here are the world famous print exhibition. But there are and few very good and famous artists like Davida Kidd, Ingrid Ledent, Alicia Candiani, Toshihiro Hamano, Taichi Kodama, Liz Ingram, Karen Kunc, Modhir Ahmed. But they are exhibited with only one work and to find it not so easy.
We wanted to visit and the next exhibition "Contemporary Japanese Woodcuts". But it was closed. The dates of the exhibition was not correct written in the website of the Triennial. We have been in Cracow on 19-20 of October 2012.
Before our travel I was trying to contact with the stuff of the Triennial and to get more info about the Print Triennial, but maybe in Poland no internet connection…
But Cracow is beautiful, and we had warm and sunshine days…
