World famous carillonist Mr. Auke de Boer with his wife Janny from the Netherlands arrived in Vilnius to give the concert in Vilnius Carillon Festival.

It is not the first time when world famous master of carillons, Mr. Auke de Boer, give the concert in Lithuania.
The first concert in Lithuania given by prof. Auke de Boer in 2014 in Kaunas. Later he several times participated in Pažaislis Music Festival, gave the carillon concerts in Vilnius, Kaunas, Šiauliai and Klaipėda.
From his first concert in Lithuania in 2014, he with an artist Joseph Johannes Visser (1946-2019) became sincere friends of Lithuania. More, they became the honorary ambassadors of Lithuania in the Netherlands. They advertise Lithuania, Lithuanian culture and artists in the Netherlands.

In his concerts in the Netherlands and abroad maestro Auke de Boer performs compositions not only world famous composes like J. S. Bach or Mozart, but also plays by carillons music of Lithuanian artist and composer M.K. Čiurlionis. Mr. Auke de Boer several times participated in Pažaislis Music Festival, gave the carillon concerts in Vilnius, Kaunas and Šiauliai.
