“8th International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2018” in Vercelli
Theme: Memento Mori

Time: 23 February – 10 March 2019
Location: “Museo Leone”, Vercelli, Italy

We have received the letter from the “Comune di Vercelli” with the official invitation to show the “8th International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2018” in a wonderful Museum – “Museo Leone” in 2019. Here we plane to exhibit about 50 artist’s books (we are very sorry, but the space doesn’t allow to exhibit more artist’s books) from the “8th Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2018”. Soon we will announce artists selected for the Exhibition in Vercelli.

Official invitation from “Museo Leone”

It is the second time when the Artist’s Book Triennial will be exhibited in Vercelli. We showed the “7th International  Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2015” in “Museo Leone” in 2015.

The Museum “Museo Leone” was built in the sixteenth century for the noble Alciati, landowners Vercelli. It has the typical plant, of Roman origin, with rooms arranged around a central courtyard, almost square, with arcades on the ground floor with round arches, supported by columns of gneiss, which are repeated with small on the first floor. The “Museo Leone” was opened in Vercelli in 1910.
