“Project Babel open at the Art Centre Idässä! The exhibitions are part of the international printmaking symposium organized by the South Karelia Art Association, which will be held from 9–13 September in Lappeenranta.
Project Babel is an international art printmaking collaboration project that was implemented in 2022–2023. 329 prints from 19 countries from 40 graphic artists come together to form a work of art based on Pieter Bruegel’s painting “The Tower of Babel” (1563). The goal of Project Babel is to gather prints from around the world and build new connections between studios.”
