Prof. Timothy Frerichs is a professor at the State University of New York at Fredonia. There he teaches book art, artist’s books, and printmaking. In 2023, he was nominated for the title of Distinguished Professor.
For Prof. Timothy Frerichs as a creator, the idea and concept of an artist’s book is very important, but so is the implementation of that concept, its realization using different materials and objects found in nature. In his creative practice, he combines different printing techniques, drawing, and collage, transforming all of this into a spatial art installation.
