World-renowned book and printmaking artist prof. Timothy Frerichs gave a lecture on artist’s book at Vilnius Academy of Arts. In the lecture he connected Sumerian clay tablets, parchment and first scroll books, manuscripts and first printed books with the contemporary artist’s book.

Prof. Timothy Frerichs shared the concepts of his self-created artist’s books and the principle of their realization. The professor is a nature protection activist, so his artist’s books and prints are almost always connected with nature and its preservation.
