Big problems with Lithuanian customs

Dear artists, we already have a problem with Lithuanian customs. According to the latest customs requirements, all packages sent from countries outside the European Union are subject to customs duties.

In the Entry Form we asked you to write:
8. On the package, please, write “No Commercial Value. Printed Matter”. Please declare the value for the customs no more 15 USD or 15 Euro.

But that is not enough.

Now they put a customs tax on all packages sent to us from countries outside the European Union if you don’t mark it as a gift on the customs declaration.

For example, a book is sent to us from Switzerland. The artist valued it at only 5 Swiss Francs. It cost him 55 euros to send the book to Lithuania. We have to pay 22 EUR to Lithuanian customs office, or they send the book back.

I am very kind asking you, on your customs declaration form when you send your book to us, please, declare it as a gift.

We promise that all books you send will be returned to the artists.
