Text on Artist’s Book
Today I received the book from an artist, artist’s book creator Dr. Rasa Janulevičiūtė “The Material Body of the Book: Between Traditions and Innovation”, published by Vilnius Academy of Arts. Editor in Chief: Dr. Tojana Račiūnaitė.
This huge book is dedicated to the art of the book, and the artist’s book in Lithuania. The book documents a conference held 2 years ago in Vilnius Academy of Arts, in 2020. The conference took place in a virtual format because we were all in quarantine – COVID-19.

Thank you, dear Rasa, for your attention on the artist’s book and the “International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius”. Even after 30 tense years of promoting the artist’s book, for more then 50 international exhibitions, symposiums and artist’s book workshops – it is still a “terra incognito” for some people in Lithuania…
