so happy and excited to be selected into this talented group!!!

    • Dear Stephen,
I am also happy with selected artists. And I am sad about rejected artists by international jury. But we did what we can. We collect artist’s books for the Triennial from what we had. It is look some artists were thinking that if they pay the entry fee, they are in the exhibition automatically. But this is not true. Now there no exhibitions in the world without entry fee and without jury if we talk about professional art activity. If you can be in the exhibition because you have paid, it’s means you are in bad exhibition, in commercial exhibition or in book fair, where you pay for your space or table and you can show and sell what you like, even cabbage or pickled cucumbers…

      • Stephen Murphy says:

Yes, i agree Kestutis… it is always a gamble…as an artist you have to grow a thick skin and just keep entering shows no matter the outcome. I told my students that they must have the experience of putting their work out there and encouraged them to enter exhibits. when it is meant to be, you will be in. You win some, you lose some…that’s just the way it is. and after a rejection or two, you appreciate the acceptance even more!
