Virtual Exhibition : Artist‘s Book–Objects of Hanne Stochholm
We would like to introduce artist Hanne Stochholm from Denmark. She create wonderful artist’s book-objects, paintings, sculptures and collages.
Artist Hanne Stochholm five times participated in the Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius. In the “7th International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2015” Hanne Stochholm got the First Prize for two artist’s books-objects.

When I look on the artist’s books of Hanne Stochholm, I recognize that an artist is from Denmark. Harsh style, delicate white-gray-brown colours, minimalism. Artist’s books of Hanne Stochholm like small sculptures. Such artist’s books belongs to altered books. Hanne Stochholm creatively connect different, I would say Nordic materials: coat, leather, iron, rope, wax, printed matter. Artist’s book-objects looks like found objects in nature. They are very natural, organic and also very powerful. It is looks that the book has some secrets, but you can’t open it, you can’t look inside.
Artist’s book-objects of Hanne Stochholm admire me. That is Art.
